Anchor Bible Institute is a ministry of First Baptist Church to any individual who desires to learn more about the Bible. If you don’t have a church home, we would love for you to be our guest. If you do have a church home, we encourage you to be faithful and growing in the Lord!
By returning one of our correspondence cards or completing the correspondence enrollment form, you will be enrolled in our FREE Bible Correspondences Course. You will be sent a free Scripture portion for use with each course. We trust that you have your own Bible, however the course is written with the page numbers from the portion of scripture provided. We use the King James Version of the Bible for all our courses. If your Bible is of a different version, you certainly are welcome to use it and compare with the portion provided, for your own study.
Your first packet will include the first three lessons of a series of nine lessons covering the miracles in the Gospel of John. Upon completion of these lessons, you simply return them in the envelope provided, for grading. Once we receive your lessons, they will be graded and returned with the next three lessons as well. We have your email address on file and you will receive updates at the appropriate time.
Upon completion of this series of nine lessons, you will receive a printed certificate. If you wish to continue in your studies, there are two more series in the Basic Bible Study set: The Parables in the Gospel of John, and Basic Bible Doctrines in the Book of Romans. We look forward to you completing all three and receiving your Basic Bible Study Diploma.
