Dear Friend,
Do you have peace in your soul about what the future holds for you? Do you feel as if your life is speeding past with no rhyme or reason for existence?
Is life just one big game striving to achieve another step on the ladder of “success”? What a shallow reason for living, if that is all life is.
No, Friend, life is more than simply succeeding in the world. Rather than looking to a plan or program for rest and peace, we must look to a Person!
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, calls us to accept the rest He offers:
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Matthew 11:28-29
As desirable as beauty, fame, and fortune are, they don’t last! God has made us with an eternal soul, and He wants us to be with Him forever in Heaven.
…but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9
No one deserves Heaven. We are all unfit for that holy place.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23
Our sinful condition brings with it a great price:
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through
Romans 6:23
Jesus Christ our Lord.
God has made a way through Jesus. He offers us the wonderful gift of eternal life based on what He did for us!
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
We must confess our sinful condition and trust in the payment Jesus made for us.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:9
Won’t you trust in Christ today?
Simply call upon the Lord in a simple prayer of faith, such as;
Dear Lord,
I confess that I am a sinner deserving judgment. Please forgive me of my sin and cleanse me. I put my trust in Jesus Christ, the one who died, was buried, and rose again for my salvation.
